Toyota Service Schedule - Recommended Service Intervals for Toyota Tundra Trucks

Service Schedules at Handy Toyota
Toyota Service in Vermont and New England

Okay, so you have conceded that service and car repair is a necessary task - but what exactly needs to be done?!

At Handy Toyota of St. Albans, VT we have grouped the majority of the standard, scheduled service and maintenance practices into three groups: Service A, Service B, and Service C. You will also notice later that there is a Service D, however this is for big mileage milestones like 55,000 miles and 105,000 miles and essentially ads some precautionary measures to make sure your new Toyota Tundra or used Tundra's odometer can roll over the next 50,000 miles!

Here is a brief breakdown of the Handy Toyota scheduled service plans.

Service A Service B Service C
Oil and filter change
All fluids are checked and topped off as needed
All four tires are checked for proper inflation and adjusted if necessary
Air filters are checked for cleanliness
Fittings are lubricated
Windshield wipers are checked for potency

Additional Information:
Service A is your basic scheduled maintenance, including oil and filter changes, fluid inspection and replenishment, tire checks, and so forth. This service schedule will ensure that your car runs optimally in between your meetings with your friendly neighborhood Toyota service center!
Oil and filter change
All fluids are checked and topped off as needed
All four tires are checked for proper inflation and adjusted if necessary
Tires are rotated properly
Air filters are checked for cleanliness
Fittings are lubricated
Windshield wipers get checked

Additional Information:
Service B, like Service A, is another round of basic scheduled maintenance and like Service A you'll notice there are general maintenance items like oil and filter changes, fluids are checked, etc.  The additional content of the Service B versus A is the tire rotation work.  Based on how many miles you have driven your Tundra truck you may need your tires rotated, changed, or maybe your Tundra's valve stems need changing.
Oil and filter change
All fluids are checked and topped off as needed
All four tires are checked for proper inflation and adjusted if necessary
Air filter and cabin air filter are replaced if necessary
PCV valves replaced
Windshield wipers are checked
Fittings are all lubricated
Additional Information:
Once again Service C is more maintenance with some optional features that we would ask a customer about before performing. During Service interval C, your Toyota air filter and/or Toyota cabin air filter could need replacing; we say "could" because, for example, those who live on a dirt road would be more likely to need the replacing than a person who doesn't. If you did need the new filters, additional charges would ensue at the customer's acceptance thereof. Though it's likely by time you hit your first Service C interval you'll need a new air filter, you could have already had it changed.
